Welcome
from the Executive Director
Welcome to Communities In Schools of Leon County!Communities In Schools is the nation's leading community-based organization helping kids stay in school and prepare for life. Since opening its doors in Leon County in 1997, we have invested more than $2 million toward programs that support the needs of at-risk students in our community.
As Bill Milliken, our founder,
says, "Programs don't change children... relationships do." Communities
In Schools has transformed that unique philosophy into thousands of
student success stories in our community. As you review our web site, I
hope you will choose to be a part of our success stories!
Respectfully, ![]() Debbie Bergstrom Breeze |
